This will be England's debut Test in Rawalpindi, which has hosted 12 matches, with the home team winning five and losing three.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) security team is also pleased with the series' plans.

Previously, it was believed that a political party's march might impact the first Test into the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad and might be shifted to Karachi.

The England team will arrive in Pakistan for the much-anticipated visit on November 27.

The second Test will be held in Multan on Friday, December 9, while the final Test will be held in the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi on Saturday, December 17.
