Wood becomes the sixth English player and the 16th international cricketer to register for the PSL 10 draft
England’s left-arm fast bowler Luke Wood has officially entered the player draft for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), scheduled to take place in Gwadar on January 11, 2025.
The PSL management announced Wood’s inclusion on Sunday by sharing a highlight reel of his best dismissals on their social media platforms, captioned: “English pacer Luke Wood enters the HBL PSL Draft.”
Wood, 29, is a sought-after player in franchise cricket, having previously participated in top leagues like the IPL, BBL, BPL, and ILT20. He has also represented England in two ODIs and five T20Is.
The pacer is no stranger to the PSL, having played two seasons with Peshawar Zalmi. During his stint, he claimed 13 wickets in 12 matches at an average of 30.30.
Wood becomes the sixth English player and the 16th international cricketer to register for the PSL 10 draft, which marks the first time the event will be held in Balochistan.
