Indian cricket team head coach Gautam Gambhir has expressed his frustration with the players in a heated speech in the dressing room. Without naming anyone, Gambhir openly criticized the lack of discipline and strategic play within the team.

The coach stated, "Enough is enough. Players are using the term 'natural game' as an excuse to play as they wish, ignoring the demands of the situation." He added that while he gave players the freedom to play their way over the past six months, it’s now time for him to decide how they should contribute to the team.

Gambhir warned, "Any player not following the strategy will be shown the door." He also highlighted the team’s underwhelming performances, particularly the batters, who have failed to deliver since the Bangladesh series.

Indian media reports suggest that the dressing room environment is far from ideal, with selectors, players, and the coaching staff not aligned. This discord was evident in the team’s collapse during the Melbourne Test, where they lost 7 wickets in just 20.4 overs, resulting in a defeat.

Australia currently leads the five-match Test series 2-1, with one match ending in a draw. The final Test of the series is scheduled for January 3 in Sydney.
