Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has lashed out at former Indian cricketer, and now a renowned commentator, Sanjay Manjrekar for calling him a bits-and-pieces cricketer.

According to details, Manjrekar had said that he was not a big fan of Jadeja’s cricketing credentials.

"I am not a big fan of bits and pieces players which Jadeja is at this point of his career in 50-over cricket. In Test matches, he is a pure bowler. But in 50-over cricket, I would rather have a batsman and a spinner," said Manjrekar according to India Today.

Jadeja has not featured in a single game during the 2019 International Cricket Council (ICC) World Cup so far, but contributed in significant fashion as a substitute fielder on the field. It must be noted that the all-rounder has played in 151 ODIs, scoring 2035 runs and taking 174 wickets.

“Still i have played twice the number of matches you have played and i m still playing. Learn to respect people who have achieved. I have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea,” said Jadeja on Twitter.

India has already qualified for the semi-finals of 2019 World Cup with 13 points from eight games. They will play their final league match of the tournament on Saturday, July 6.
