Pakistan all-rounder, Faheem Ashrafโs all-round displayed helped Hobart Hurricanes notch up a narrow two-run win over Brisbane Heat on Wednesday in Big Bash League (BBL) season 12.
The Hurricanes were reeling at 93-5 in 16.2 overs when the all-rounder came to the crease. His team needed to accelerate but they kept losing wickets with Faheem stranded at the other end. Ashraf remained unbeaten on 11 from 6 balls, to take his team to 120-9 in 20 overs.

Hobart needed early breakthroughs to defend the small target, and Faheem delivered by removing dangerous opener, Josh Brown, inside the powerplay.
Sam Hain and Jimmy Peirson were cruising to the target and stitched an important 73-run partnership before Faheem came back to struck gold. The right-arm pacer dismissed Hain for 26 in the 17th over, to bring Hobart back in the game.
Heat fell short by two runs in the chase. Faheem finished with a brilliant figures of 2/19 in his four-over spell.
