Left-arm opening batsman Fakhar Zaman has finally received his ICC Team of the Year cap after being named in the team for his outstanding performances in 2021.
The hard-hitter opener played six matches and ammased 365 runs at an impressive average of 60.38; this also included two centuries, including the sensational 193-run knock against South Africa where he carried Pakistan to an almost impossible victory.
Fakhar Zaman revealed the information on his official Twitter account, after which ICC also shared the across their social media platforms as well.
Sharing the picture of the honorary cap, Fakhar Zaman wrote on his Twitter account, “Finally, it’s here.” He went on to add, “Thank you for this, ICC. Honored to be a part of the ODI team of the year.”
