Cricket fans in Pakistan will have the chance to nominate their favorite personalities for recognition under the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) "Hamaray Heroes" initiative during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, which is set to begin on April 11.

Fans can submit their nominations through a form available on the official PSL website. The deadline for submissions is April 9, 2025.

The PCB announced that it will honor and reward notable personalities nominated by fans during PSL X, which will run from April 11 to May 18.

“The Pakistan Cricket Board will recognise and award notable and successful personalities nominated by the Pakistan cricket fans as part of its Hamaray Heroes initiative during the HBL PSL X, which is set to run from 11 April to 18 May,” the PCB said in a statement.

The final list of nominees will be reviewed by a panel, and 34 individuals with the most nominations will receive cash prizes.

The "Hamaray Heroes" initiative gives fans the opportunity to recognize people from various fields, including sports, education, healthcare, arts, culture, music, social work, social entrepreneurship, and technology. The PCB aims to use this platform to appreciate these individuals for their contributions to the country and to highlight their positive impact on society.

Introduced during PSL 2020, the "Hamaray Heroes" campaign was met with an overwhelming response, with many prominent figures being recognized for their efforts in different sectors.

The 10th edition of the PSL will begin on Friday, April 11, with defending champions Islamabad United taking on two-time winners Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

The tournament will feature six teams and a total of 34 matches from April 11 to May 18. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 matches, including the two Eliminators and the grand final. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including the first Qualifier on May 13. Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five matches.

Additionally, the tournament will feature three double-headers, with two scheduled for Saturdays and one on Labour Day (May 1).
