The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest Women’s ODI player rankings, with Pakistan’s Fatima Sana making a slight improvement in the bowling category. However, no Pakistani cricketer managed to break into the top 10 across any major category — batting, bowling, or all-rounders.

In the batting rankings, Sidra Amin remained Pakistan’s top performer, ranked 21st in ODI. She was followed by Aliya Riaz at 29th and Muneeba Ali at 31st, reflecting a lack of standout batting performances in recent games.

At the top of the batting chart, South Africa’s Laura Wolvaardt continued to hold the number one spot. India’s Smriti Mandhana stayed second, while England’s Natalie Sciver-Brunt followed closely in third. England’s Amy Jones moved up three places to enter the top 10, now sitting at seventh, while Sri Lanka’s Chamari Athapaththu dropped to eighth.

In bowling, Pakistan’s captain Fatima Sana moved up one place to 27th. Nashra Sandhu remained the highest-ranked Pakistani bowler at 13th, thanks to her steady performances. Sadia Iqbal, who currently tops the T20I bowling rankings, ranked 17th in ODIs. England’s Sophie Ecclestone led the bowling list, with Australia’s Ash Gardner and Megan Schutt in second and third places, respectively. West Indies’ Hayley Matthews also climbed to seventh position.

In the all-rounders’ category, Nida Dar and Fatima Sana placed 16th and 17th. Ash Gardner continued to lead the all-rounder rankings, followed by Matthews and South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp. Matthews reached a career-best rating of 448, with Gardner leading the pack at 470.
