Pakistan women’s cricket team captain, Fatima Sana, has expressed confidence as her team prepares for the tough competition in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
Despite being placed in a challenging group with teams like Australia, India, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka, Sana believes there’s no pressure, and her team is ready to play fearless cricket.
Speaking to a local news channel, Fatima shared that she feels comfortable in her captaincy role due to the strong support from both the management and her teammates.
"I have a lot of support from the management and the players, so it doesn’t feel different," Fatima said.
Talking about the tough group stage, Fatima emphasized the importance of self-belief and playing with intensity.
"We should believe in playing well and carry that belief forward. When you play against a strong team, you play with more intensity. When facing a team like Australia, you must focus on giving your best," she further added.
