The first phase of the conditioning camp has started today at the National High-Performance Center (NHPC) in Lahore.

On the first day of the camp, coaches gave introductory lectures. Batting coach Mohammad Yousuf, bowling coach Shaun Tait and fielding coach Abdul Majeed explained the camp's purpose to the players.

Former cricketer Mushtaq Ahmed and NHPC coordinator Umar Rasheed also attended the introductory session.

Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hasnain and Mohammad Waseem Jr. did not attend the first session of the camp. All three players will join the camp this evening.

Skipper Babar Azam and leg-spinner Zahid Mahmood will join the camp on Friday. Babar Azam is busy abroad while Zahid Mahmood's mother passed away yesterday.

On the second day of the camp, the players will participate in net sessions. Mohammad Yousuf and Imam-ul-Haq will speak to the media at LCCA Lahore before tomorrow's net sessions at 3:30 pm.
