Islamabad United emerged victorious in the Pakistan Super League's ninth season, defeating Multan Sultans in the final at Karachi's National Bank Stadium.

While the tournament showcased remarkable performances from various players, there were notable individuals who fell short of meeting the high expectations placed upon them.

Here's the PSL 9 Flop XI, highlighting those who failed to meet the tournament's expectations:

Alex Hales, a pivotal figure in Islamabad United's lineup since 2018, endured a challenging season in PSL 9, mustering a mere 148 runs at an average of 14.8 with a strike rate of 124.

Shan Masood, the captain of Karachi Kings, failed to leave a significant impact, registering only 158 runs at an average of 15.8 and a strike rate of 105.

Rilee Rossouw, entrusted with the leadership role for Quetta Gladiators for the first time, fell short of expectations, tallying 148 runs at an average of 16.4 and a strike rate of 107.

Sarfaraz Ahmed, the former captain of Quetta Gladiators, encountered a rough patch, managing a meager 22 runs across five innings for 2019 PSL champions.

Mohammad Nawaz, drafted by Karachi Kings, struggled to deliver both with the bat and the ball, scoring 88 runs and securing just two wickets throughout the tournament.
