Former Pakistan cricket captain Mohammad Hafeez has strongly criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) administrative decisions. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Khwaja Iftikhar Ahmed Memorial Tennis Tournament in Lahore, Hafeez expressed concerns over the repeated changes, including the hiring of foreign coaches, which he believes are causing problems within the board.

Hafeez stated, "There are administrative issues in Pakistan. Constant changes, including the hiring of foreign coaches, are leading to complications. I feel disappointed by some of the decisions taken by PCB in this regard."

Referring to the departure of coaches Gary Kirsten and Gillespie, Hafeez said, "If these coaches were brought in, their contracts should have been completed. The way they were let go was painful. This is not suitable for Pakistan cricket."

The former captain also emphasized the importance of standing firm on Pakistan's position regarding the ICC Champions Trophy. He mentioned that PCB heads in the past have often reversed their decisions, but this time, he is confident that the newly appointed Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, will not take any U-turns. Hafeez added, "I hope PCB will continue to take a firm stand regarding the Indian team's refusal to tour Pakistan and bring joy to the nation by sticking to their decision."
