Former cricketer Tauseef Ahmed discharged from hospital

He will stay at NHPC until he is allowed to travel

Pakistan’s former cricketer Tauseef Ahmed has been discharged from the hospital. The 62-year-old will stay at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)’s National High Performance Centre (NHPC), in Lahore, until he is allowed to travel.  

According to his nephew, Ahmed is currently doing better as far as his health is concerned. 

The former cricketer is thankful for all the prayers directed towards him along with the people who helped them during this entire ordeal.

It should be noted that the 62-year-old suffered a heart attack during a wedding event on Sunday. He was treated at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology where stents were inserted into the former cricketer.

Special instructions were also sent out by Prime Minister Imran Khan’s office for Ahmed’s treatment. 

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had also announced that it would cover all the costs incurred by the former cricketer during his treatment.
