Former England captain Eoin Morgan has expressed his admiration for India’s squad depth, naming them the strongest contenders for the T20 World Cup 2024 scheduled to take place in the USA and West Indies next month.

In a recent interview with a local news channel, Morgan highlighted India’s formidable bench strength as their greatest asset, emphasizing how injuries wouldn't significantly impact their campaign.

“For me, the strongest side, even with injuries throughout the tournament, is India. Their strength in depth is absolutely incredible at the moment. We’re talking about the players who have missed out on the squad of 15 because of the quality they possess. They haven’t won it since that first World Cup back in 2007," Morgan said.

Pakistan's journey begins in Dallas, where they will take on co-host USA on June 6, followed by matches against India on June 9 and Canada on June 12 in New York. Their final league match against Ireland is slated for June 16 in Florida.
