Former England captain Nasser Hussain commented that while Pakistan is the host of the Champions Trophy, India is benefiting from a "home advantage."
Another former captain, Michael Atherton, said, "India doesn’t face the challenges of adjusting to new conditions or dealing with travel issues, unlike its opponents."
He added that playing all matches at a single venue gives India a crucial edge over other teams.
So far, India has defeated Bangladesh and Pakistan by 6 wickets each in the Champions Trophy 2025. They will play their final group match against New Zealand on March 2.
