Former fast bowler Tanvir Ahmed has issued a bold challenge to the Indian cricket team, urging them to visit Pakistan for the 2025 Champions Trophy.

In a recent statement on his YouTube channel, Ahmed praised the Pakistan team for their willingness to travel to India for the World Cup and called on India to reciprocate.

“We are lions,” Ahmed declared. “We came and played cricket in your country. Come here and show... We are inviting you to come and play. We will provide security; we will give you everything. Just come once.”

The former pacer emphasized the bravery of Pakistan players, highlighting their commitment to the sport.

“This is only the job of Pakistani players, brother. Only Pakistani players came and play, then left. Whether they win or lose, they play the kind of cricket they do. They went to India, played there, and came back. This is what you call a brave team and brave players,” he said.

As Pakistan prepares to host its first major cricket tournament since the 2008 Asia Cup, the country is making extensive efforts to ensure the event's success.

However, the reluctance of the Indian team to travel for the Champions Trophy 2025 presents a significant challenge for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The PCB is working diligently to address and resolve any safety concerns raised by international teams.
