Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi, now the newly appointed tournament ambassador, has shared his predictions for the semifinalists of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup scheduled to take place in the USA and West Indies next month.
In a video released by the ICC, Afridi confidently named his top four teams that he believes will reach the crucial semifinal round of the mega-event tournament.
"Pakistan, then I will go with Australia, India, and in those conditions, I will go with New Zealand," Afridi said.
Expressing his hopes for the Pakistan team, the former all-rounder added, "I think Pakistan should play in the final."

The squad was finalized on Friday afternoon (UK time) after a two-hour meeting of the selection committee. The meeting was attended by Abdul Razzaq, Asad Shafiq, Babar Azam, Bilal Afzal, Gary Kirsten, Mohammad Yousuf, and Wahab Riaz.
Pakistan's journey begins in Dallas, where they will take on co-host USA on June 6, followed by matches against India on June 9 and Canada on June 12 in New York. Their final league match against Ireland is slated for June 16 in Florida.
