Usman Qadir has moved to Australia in pursuit of a better future in his cricket career
Former Pakistan cricketer Usman Qadir has moved to Australia in pursuit of a better future in his cricket career.
The international cricketer has settled in New South Wales and is currently playing for the Hawkesbury Club in Sydney.
Usman Qadir previously represented South Australia and has also played in the Big Bash League (BBL) for Perth and Adelaide. Additionally, he was honored to play for the Australian Prime Minister’s XI.
In October of last year, Usman Qadir had retired from Pakistan cricket, expressing disappointment and frustration with his situation.
It is important to note that Usman Qadir initially left Australia to return to Pakistan in line with the wishes of his late father, Abdul Qadir, who wanted to see his son play for Pakistan.
Usman Qadir has represented Pakistan in one ODI and 25 T20I matches. However, now with plans to continue his cricket career in Australia, he has moved back to the country to pursue opportunities.
Usman Qadir shared, "Cricket is my livelihood. I’ve come to Australia with future plans in mind, and I’m hopeful and determined that good opportunities will come my way in the sport."
Sources have also revealed that Usman Qadir’s family is expected to join him in Australia soon.
