Former Pakistan international cricketer, Usman Qadir, has become part of the Women’s Ashes Series festivities. The leg-spinner will support the Women’s Ashes Test by attending the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) as part of Cricket Australia's initiatives.

It’s worth noting that Qadir, who has retired from Pakistan, has now moved to Australia. Alongside him, former Sri Lanka Women’s captain Shashikala Siriwardene and Melbourne Renegades player Ruwantha are also part of the event lineup.

Cricket Australia has organized several programs to promote the Women’s Ashes Test. The first day of the Test will include representation from various communities, with cricket fan groups from diverse backgrounds visiting the MCG.

The much-anticipated Women’s Ashes Test between Australia and England is set to commence on January 30.
