Four teams for IPL 2024 playoffs confirmed

The IPL 2024 playoffs lineup has been confirmed following Royal Challengers Bengaluru's victory over Chennai Super Kings by 27 runs on Saturday.

RCB have secured their spot in the playoffs after finishing their round stage with 14 points, setting them up for the Eliminator against either Rajasthan Royals or Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Kolkata Knight Riders, on the other hand, have secured their place in Qualifier 1 with an impressive tally of 19 points from 13 matches.

The battle for the Qualifier 1 spot intensifies as RR and SRH face off on the final day of the league stage on Sunday.

SRH kicks off the day against Punjab Kings, while RR takes on KKR later in the evening.

Should SRH emerge victorious, they'll rely on RR's loss to secure their place. However, if they fail to defeat PBKS, Rajasthan Royals will lock horns with KKR in Qualifier 1 on May 21st.

May 22: Eliminator - Rajasthan Royals/ Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru - Ahmedabad

May 24: Qualifier 2 - Loser of Qualifier 1 vs Winner of Eliminator - Chennai

May 26: Final - Winner of Qualifier 1 vs Winner of Qualifier 2 - Chennai
