On the other hand, the franchises also expressed interest in buying teams of the Pakistan Junior League. The board was happy about this development.

Remember, an MoU was signed with a major commercial partner company, which will have the option to sell most of the rights, including commercial and production.

The PCB opted to have the franchises as they were not sold due to lack of interest in the first edition. And the board itself took over the management, the meeting also discussed the bank guarantee dispute of TV rights and agreed to resolve the matter amicably.

In this regard, a case is also going on in the court, a long-standing financial dispute with a commercial partner was also urged to be resolved through discussion, the authorities reminded the franchises to pay the fee, the issue of surrogate advertising was not further discussed.

The franchises also once again called for a separate PSL secretariat. Meanwhile, the meeting took place in a very pleasant atmosphere, Ramiz Raja was angry with someone due to some statements, but the matter ended with an apology, the board officials and the team owners discussed all the issues in a light-hearted manner.

The owner of Peshawar Zalmi, Javed Afridi, did not attend the meeting. He is unhappy with the controversial statements of PCB officials regarding the international matches in Peshawar. He also didn't participate in the draft.
