Gary Kirsten confident as Pakistan prepares for T20 World Cup 2024

Pakistan's head coach Gary Kirsten shared insights on Thursday regarding the team's preparedness and aspirations for the 20 World Cup 2024, set to commence on June 1 in the United States and West Indies.

Expressing optimism about Pakistan's chances, Kirsten remarked on the exciting developments within the team amidst a recent overhaul. 

"These are indeed thrilling times for Pakistan cricket, with a new administration and players who are driven to deliver solid results," Kirsten said.

Highlighting the significance of collective effort and meticulous planning, Kirsten emphasized the team's resolve to uphold Pakistan's esteemed cricket legacy. 

"The upcoming T20 World Cup presents a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase our skills and uphold Pakistan's legacy as a formidable force in cricket. However, success will require collective effort, meticulous planning and unwavering support for one another," he further added.

It is worth noting that Pakistan, placed in Group A, will commence their campaign against the United States on June 6, followed by a highly anticipated clash against arch-rivals India three days later.
