Gautam Gambhir, the head coach of India's men's cricket team, has revealed his all-time World XI, consisting of players he competed against during his career.

In an interview with Sportskeeda, Gambhir selected a formidable lineup featuring a blend of legendary cricketers from various cricketing nations.

Opening the batting for his dream team are the explosive duo of Adam Gilchrist from Australia and Matthew Hayden, known for their aggressive batting prowess.

Following them in the lineup are the versatile AB De Villiers of South Africa and the elegant Brian Lara from the West Indies, providing depth and dynamism to the batting order.

In the middle order, Gambhir included the formidable presence of former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq, renowned for his ability to anchor innings and score crucial runs under pressure. T

he team's all-round capabilities are bolstered by three dynamic players: Australia's Andrew Symonds, Pakistan's Abdul Razzaq, and England's Andrew Flintoff, each known for their ability to contribute with both bat and ball.

The spin department is anchored by Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralitharan, the leading wicket-taker in both Test and ODI cricket, adding his unmatched spin wizardry to the team's arsenal.

Pace bowling duties are entrusted to two fearsome quicks: Pakistan's Shoaib Akhtar, celebrated for his blistering pace, and South Africa's Morne Morkel, who brings experience and tactical nous to the bowling attack.

It must be noted that Morkel was recently appointed as India's bowling coach, further enhancing his significance in Gambhir's esteemed lineup.
