Harbhajan involved in animated exchange with Kamran Akmal after Arshdeep controversy

Former Pakistan cricketer Kamran Akmal made a controversial comment about Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh on live TV during a T20 World Cup match between India and Pakistan in New York . 

Akmal's remark, which referenced Arshdeep's religion, sparked outrage on social media and drew criticism from former India cricketer Harbhajan Singh. Akmal later apologized for his comment.

Almost a month after the incident, Harbhajan and Akmal were seen having an animated discussion after the India-Pakistan match at the World Championship of Legends in Birmingham, which Pakistan won by 68 runs. A video of their conversation, recorded from a distance, went viral on social media. Harbhajan appeared to be doing most of the talking, although the exact topic of their discussion remains unknown.

During the World Cup match, Akmal, as part of local news' broadcast panel, had criticized Arshdeep Singh while he was bowling the final over, saying, "Anything can happen. The last over will be bowled by Arshdeep Singh; he hasn't looked in a great rhythm. And it is already 12."

Harbhajan Singh, in response, called Akmal's statement "absurd and childish," and warned him against making such remarks in the future.

Harbhajan emphasized that comments about religion are inappropriate and highlighted the contributions of the Sikh community, urging Akmal to educate himself on their history.
