Pakistan pacer, Haris Rauf,  and all-rounder, Shadab Khan, have been signed up by the San Francisco Unicorns for the inaugural edition of Major League Cricket (MLC).

The MLC is scheduled to take place from July 13 to July 30 in Dallas and will feature six teams. Shadab and Rauf's inclusion in the San Francisco Unicorns team comes as a result of their availability for the league. As the duo are not part of the Pakistan Test squad selected to tour Sri Lanka during the same period,  they are likely to be fully available for MLC, pending a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

This move follows ESPNcricinfo report from last month, where it was revealed that Imad Wasim and Azam Khan were set to join the Seattle Orcas in MLC.

The PCB has responded positively to the MLC's request to include Pakistani players but has imposed a condition for their participation. The PCB has asked the MLC management to pay $25,000 for each player's involvement in the league.

The tournament has already attracted renowned players from various cricket-playing nations, adding to the anticipation and excitement surrounding the league's inaugural season.

Jason Roy has given up his incremental contract with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to play in the inaugural edition of the United States' new Twenty20 tournament.
