Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf has opened up about the challenges he faced during his recovery from a shoulder injury sustained in a match against the Karachi Kings in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine.

Rauf, who rejoined the national team for the T20 series against England, shared insights into his rehabilitation journey and the mental and physical hurdles he had to overcome.

"It's hard for a player when he gets injured and comes back again for the game. It's not easy because you are sttuggling alot at that time. For an express bowler you need pace so it's not easy to maintain same pace and length after an injury. It's hard for every player however belief in yourself makes the process easier," Rauf said while speaking in a presser.

It is worth noting that despite the setback, Rauf's comeback in the ongoing T20 series against England has been promising. In his first match back, he delivered a commendable performance, taking 2 wickets for 34 runs in his 4-over spell. His return has been a significant boost for the Pakistani bowling attack, which relies heavily on his speed and accuracy.
