India's Harmanpreet Kaur has surpassed Australia's Meg Lanning to become the second-leading run-scorer in Women's T20I history. Harmanpreet achieved this milestone by scoring 66 runs against the UAE earlier in the tournament, bringing her total to 3415 T20I runs, overtaking Lanning's 3405 runs.

Teammate and captain Smriti Mandhana is also closing in on Lanning's record. With 3378 T20I runs, Mandhana has the chance to surpass Lanning and become the third-highest run-scorer in Women's T20I history if she scores big in the upcoming Asia Cup semi-final against Bangladesh on Friday.

New Zealand's Suzie Bates remains the top run-scorer in Women's T20I cricket, with 4348 runs. Bates recently added 117 runs during the five-match T20I series against England, further solidifying her lead.
