Former England U19 captain and Yorkshire batter Harry Brook has called Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf a 'Joker'.

Brook and Haris were part of the Lahore Qalandars' winning campaign in season seven of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL). The pair will now link up again for Yorkshire county and Haris will play County Championship and T20 Blast matches.

Harry has acknowledged Rauf's ability and skill and expects him to be very dangerous for the opponents in England's conditions. "He's going to bring pace and aggression, and hopefully he bowls the right length for England because he's got good skills to go with it," Harry told Yorkshire's county website.

"If he brings that pace and aggression and uses his skills well, he's going to be a real handful," he added.

"He can swing it both ways, and he will seam it as well. I expect him to be very, very dangerous," he maintained.

Meanwhile, talking about Haris's personality, the 23-year-old termed him as the 'joker' of the side.

"When I was with the Qalandars, he was pretty much the joker on that side. He was very loud, and all the lads seemed to enjoy him. I think he will fit in well with us. He's a good lad."
