The player draft for the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League will take place in Karachi on December 15.
The announcement has been made after consulting with all franchises, said PCB.
The tournament's director Usman Wahla stated that adding notable players will make the eighth season of the PSL larger.
"Some big cricketers' availability ensures a bigger and better PSL season this time around," he said.
The PCB has already announced the draught pick order, with the defending champions, Lahore Qalandars, picking first.
Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans will have the second and third selections, respectively. Karachi Kings and Islamabad United will pick players in the fourth and fifth selections. In the meantime, Peshawar Zalmi will select sixth.
A specialized statistical technique will determine the subsequent 17 rounds.
The eighth season of the Pakistan Super League will run from February 9 to March 19 in Karachi, Multan, Rawalpindi, and Lahore. The Lahore Qalandars will defend their championship title.
