Former England cricketer-turned-commentator Michael Vaughan has praised HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) for its "fewer games" format.
Vaughan has openly admitted that domestic competitions often take a lot of time to conclude while that is not the case with Pakistan's marquee tournament.
"PSL has it spot on, high-quality players, fewer games than other tournaments making it a few weeks shorter," Vaughan expressed his thoughts on Twitter.
The former England captain further added that the "PSL leaves you wanting a little bit more at the end, other tournaments do not."
The Pakistan Super league has it spot on … High quality players … Fewer games than other tournaments making it a few weeks shorter … It’s leaves you wanting a little bit more at the end … Other tournaments don’t … #Pakistan

The HBL PSL has two stages to its format; the group stages and then the playoffs. After facing off against each team twice, franchises that are in the top-four qualify for the playoffs.
After reaching the playoffs, the top-two ranked teams play the Qualifier - basically to allow another chance to the losing team.
The winner of the Qualifier qualifies directly for the tournament final whereas the loser faces the winner between the third and fourth-ranked teams from the group stages.
