The highly anticipated semi-final matchups for the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 were confirmed after former champions India defeated New Zealand by 44 runs at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday.
India’s victory, which earned them six points from three matches and the top spot in Group A, secured their place in the first semi-final. They will now face two-time champions Australia at the same venue on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, New Zealand, who finished second in Group A, will take on Group B leaders South Africa in the second semi-final. This match is scheduled to be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Wednesday.
Both teams will now travel back to Lahore to have enough time for training before their knockout clash.
