The second Test between Pakistan and Australia is underway in Karachi and to ensure a smooth traffic flow during the five-day match, the local administration of Karachi has issued a traffic plan.

Starting today, the match will end on March 16 and a complete plan has been devised to help people avoid traffic jams as National Stadium Karachi lies at the center of the city.

To facilitate the spectators coming to the National Stadium from different areas following parking arrangements have been made.

Spectators coming from Central and West districts via Liaquatabad No 10 can park their cars and motorcycles adjacent to the Baitul Mukarram Masjid at the Hakim Saeed Ground on University Road from where shuttle service will be provided to take the spectators to the National Stadium.

Similarly, spectators coming from Gulshan, Federal B Area, and New Karachi should park their vehicles at the Hakim Saeed ground via Napa.

Spectators coming from the East, Malir, and Korangi districts will park their vehicles at the same ground via Drigh Road, Millennium Mall, and Nipa. From there, a shuttle service will be provided.

Spectators coming from the District South, City, Shar-e-Faisal, or People’s Chowrangi, can park their vehicles at the Hakeem Saeed Ground via Jail Road.
Closed Routes

The route from Liaquatabad via the Hassan Square Flyover on National Stadium Road will be closed for the public. Motorists can take the route of University road to reach their destinations. At the same time, Hassan Square traffic from Stadium Road will continue as usual.

Any sort of heavy traffic will not be allowed from the Millennium Mall to New Town. The public is requested to avoid parking their vehicles on any service or main road.
Cooperation with the law enforcement agencies is requested to avoid any inconvenience for the public.
