England's marquee all-rounder Liam Livingstone has opened up about the prospect of playing in the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) and what it means for him personally.
Liam Livingstone labeled it as "a special" tournament for him
The 28-year-old, who is representing Peshawar Zalmi in HBL PSL 7, stated that he started his franchise-based cricket career with PSL and went on to play other leagues after playing Pakistan's marquee domestic event.
“The Pakistan Super League was my first ever franchise tournament, it’s indeed a special one for me. It’s nice to come back to Pakistan," the Englishman shared during his side's clash against Multan Sultans in Lahore yesterday.
Meanwhile, Livingstone had a good start to HBL PSL 7 as he scored 16-ball 24 while bowled four-over spell and conceded 34 runs.
However, Multan Sultans defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 42 runs in the first match of Lahore leg.
