Struggling to find their form, defending champions Lahore Qalandars have faced a string of defeats in the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season nine.

Qalandars have lost all five of their matches thus far in the league. Moreover, they are currently languishing at the bottom of the points table.

To keep their playoff dreams alive, Lahore must secure victories in all of their remaining five matches, aiming to accumulate a total of 10 points.

In previous PSL seasons, there have been instances where teams secured playoff berths with just 10 points. Notably, Peshawar Zalmi achieved this in 2023, while Karachi Kings did it in 2021 and 2019, and Quetta Gladiators in 2018. It's noteworthy that these teams advanced to the playoffs with the minimum required points among the qualifying teams.

Qalandars next challenge awaits against table-toppers Multan Sultans, scheduled for Tuesday in Lahore.
