Here's how Pakistan can qualify for Asia Cup 2023 final

India have secured their place in the final of 2023 Asia Cup after beating Sri Lanka by 41 runs in the Super 4 clash on Tuesday in Colombo.

India are on the top spot in the Super 4 standings of the Asia Cup 2023 with 4 points, with a game remaining against Bangladesh, who are now out of the tournament.

Despite a humiliating loss to India, Pakistan still have a chance of making it to the final of the tournament.

Prior to facing India, Pakistan had convincingly defeated Bangladesh in the Super 4 phase. However, Pakistan now have only one match remaining in the Super 4 stage, against Sri Lanka.

With Pakistan and Sri Lanka both having 2 points after two Super 4 matches, their encounter on Thursday is now a virtual semi-final - whoever wins will meet India in the final.

If Sri Lanka vs Pakistan match is washed out due to rain, Sri Lanka will qualify for the final as they hold a superior net run rate (-0.200) compared to Pakistan (-1.892).
