Renowned Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman has expressed his admiration for Indian Cricket Team captain Rohit Sharma, naming him as his favorite cricketer from the current Indian squad.
Jackman, known for his role as Wolverine in the Marvel universe, shared his sentiments during a promotional event for his upcoming film, Deadpool & Wolverine.
Speaking passionately about cricket, Jackman remarked, "Right now, Rohit." He also expressed his delight over India's recent triumph in the T20 World Cup.
Just a day following the Indian national team's triumphant parade in Mumbai celebrating their T20 World Cup victory, Hugh expressed his joy over India bringing home the World Cup T20 trophy in a video shared by Marvel India. "Honestly, he was a beast," Hugh commented on Rohit, while his co-star and Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds praised Hugh's impressive cricket insights.
