Pakistan's U19 pacer Zeeshan Zameer revealed that he had planned to bag a fifer against India during the ACC U19 Asia Cup.

The 19-year-old registered figures of 5/60 as the bowlers restricted India to 237. The batters chased down the total on the last ball of the match to hand Pakistan valuable points and two-wicket win over arch-rivals in the competition.

"I thank Allah for helping me. I had planned to take five wickets against India and Alhamdulillah, I was able to achieve it," Zeeshan said after the match.

Meanwhile, skipper Qasim Akram appreciated his troops for showing brilliant performance. "Fast bowlers started the proceedings well and then spinners complimented in the middle-overs," Qasim said.

""We had planned that the batters would stick to the crease and play to the end. And that is exactly what happened," he added.

Qasim concluded by praising Mohammad Shehzad who played a knock of 81 runs while Ahmed Khan finished the match with his 'excellent cameo'.

On the other hand, Shehzad opined that it was his dream come true as he wanted to contribute in a big match.
