The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the nominees for the Men’s Player of the Month for March 2025, which includes New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra, Jacob Duffy, and India’s Shreyas Iyer.

Shreyas Iyer earned a spot on the list after his crucial contributions in India’s successful ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 campaign. Iyer accumulated 172 runs in three ODIs at an average of 57.33 and a strike rate of 77.47. He finished as India’s leading run-scorer in the eight-team tournament. His highest score came in a group-stage match against New Zealand, where he made 79 runs. In the semi-final against Australia, he contributed 45 runs, and in the final against New Zealand, he scored 48 runs, playing an essential role in India’s campaign.

Rachin Ravindra, another standout performer in the Champions Trophy 2025, was also nominated for his all-round brilliance. Ravindra scored 151 runs in three matches during March, with an average of 50.33 and an impressive strike rate of 106.33. He also took three wickets at an outstanding economy rate of 4.66. His best performance came in the semi-final against South Africa, where he scored a brilliant 108 runs, marking his second century of the tournament. This knock, along with his partnership with Kane Williamson, helped New Zealand set a record total in the history of the Champions Trophy.

Jacob Duffy, the rising pacer from New Zealand, earned a nomination for his remarkable performances in the home white-ball series against Pakistan. Duffy took 13 wickets in the T20I series, finishing as the leading wicket-taker with an average of 8.38 and an economy rate of 6.17. His outstanding form helped him rise to the top of the ICC Men’s T20I bowling rankings. Duffy also took two wickets in the opening ODI against Pakistan, bringing his total wickets in March to 15 in just six matches.

These three players are now in the running for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for March 2025.
