Kettleborough and Sharfuddoula will oversee the first of 12 group stage games

The match officials for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 group stage has been confirmed, with Richard Kettleborough and Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid set to stand as on-field umpires for the opening match between Pakistan and New Zealand on 19 February in Karachi.
This will mark the return of the Champions Trophy after an eight-year hiatus, with matches taking place across Pakistan and Dubai.
Kettleborough and Sharfuddoula will oversee the first of 12 group stage games. Joel Wilson will be the TV umpire, and Alex Wharf will act as the fourth umpire. Andrew Pycroft has been named as the match referee for this opening fixture.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will begin on 19th February, with hosts and defending champions Pakistan facing New Zealand at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
