The ICC has unveiled the Team of the Tournament for the Champions Trophy 2025, recognizing the best performers from the competition.
The ninth edition of the tournament saw India crowned as the champions after defeating New Zealand in the final on March 9, 2025. The Team of the Tournament includes several exceptional players who impressed with both bat and ball throughout the competition.
Here’s the standout XI that made it to the Team of the Tournament:
1. Rachin Ravindra (New Zealand)
251 runs, 62.75 average, two hundreds
Ravindra was the star of New Zealand's campaign, scoring two brilliant centuries and contributing with his spin bowling. His all-round performance earned him the Player of the Tournament award.
2. Ibrahim Zadran (Afghanistan)
216 runs, 72 average, one hundred
The Afghan opener was crucial for his team, scoring a remarkable 177 against England — the highest individual score in the tournament's history.
3. Virat Kohli (India)
218 runs, 54.5 average, one hundred
Kohli proved why he’s called "King Kohli," scoring consistently throughout the tournament. His 84 in the semi-final against Australia and an unbeaten century against Pakistan were the key knocks in India’s successful campaign. Kohli also crossed the 14,000 ODI runs milestone during the tournament.
4. Shreyas Iyer (India)
243 runs, 48.6 average, two fifties
Iyer was a rock in India’s middle order, providing stability in challenging batting conditions. His consistent performances were vital for India, especially during the knockout stages.

Omarzai was an invaluable all-rounder for Afghanistan, contributing with both bat and ball. His match-winning 5/58 against England was one of the highlights of the tournament.
8. Mitchell Santner (c) (New Zealand)

Santner was exceptional as both captain and bowler, guiding New Zealand to the final. His leadership and bowling helped the Kiwis remain competitive throughout the tournament.
