The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the list of contenders for the ICC Men’s and Women’s Player of the Month awards for their outstanding performances in March.

These awards recognize exceptional individual achievements in international cricket, and the shortlisted names for March cover a variety of formats.

Mark Adair receives his first nomination for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month following his pivotal role in Ireland’s Test victory over Afghanistan and his contributions in shorter formats. Matt Henry from New Zealand demonstrated consistent success with the ball during the World Test Championship series against Australia. Kamindu Mendis of Sri Lanka made headlines with his remarkable batting performances in their Test series against Bangladesh.

The women’s shortlist features outstanding players from England, Australia, and New Zealand, recognizing their achievements across various formats.

Maia Bouchier from England impressed with her explosive batting in the T20I series against New Zealand. Ashleigh Gardner of Australia showcased her all-round skills in the ODI series against Bangladesh. Amelia Kerr from New Zealand stood out as the leading run-scorer and wicket-taker in the series against England.
