ICC to establish sub-office in Lahore for Champions Trophy 2025 planning

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), under the leadership of Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, is set to convene an important meeting tomorrow to discuss key cricketing matters. Sources reveal that the meeting will primarily focus on crucial decisions regarding the Champions Trophy 2025, with particular attention to event preparations and administrative arrangements.

Additionally, the agenda will include discussions on the upcoming player draft for PSL Season 10, along with other vital issues related to the country's cricketing activities.

In a related development, the International Cricket Council (ICC) is scheduled to open a sub-office in Lahore later this month to oversee preparations for the Champions Trophy. This sub-office will be essential in ensuring smooth coordination and operations for the prestigious tournament.

The PCB has appointed Sameer Ahmed Syed, the Board's Chief Operating Officer, as the Tournament Director for the Champions Trophy 2025. Syed will be responsible for overseeing the organization of the event.
