The ICC has announced the nominees for the Women’s Player of the Month award for September 2024, featuring an experienced England batter, a talented teenager from Ireland, and a strong all-rounder from the UAE.

Tammy Beaumont (England)  
Tammy Beaumont has shown that she remains a significant player in international cricket with impressive performances during England's white-ball tour of Ireland. She scored a total of 212 runs in three ODIs at an average of 106, helping her team secure a 2-1 series victory. Beaumont's standout moment came in the second ODI when she smashed 150 runs off just 139 balls, earning her the Player of the Match award. In addition to her ODI success, she contributed another 67 runs from two innings in the following T20I series.

Aimee Maguire (Ireland) 
Aimee Maguire, an 18-year-old bowler from Ireland, delivered memorable performances throughout September, claiming 12 wickets in five matches against England. Her best performance came in the third ODI in Belfast, where she achieved career-best figures of 5/19, helping Ireland secure a stunning upset victory over England. Maguire also impressed in the T20I series, taking 3/30 and 2/32 in her two matches, showcasing her skill and helping Ireland level the T20I series at 1-1.

Esha Oza (UAE) 
Esha Oza, an all-rounder from the UAE, had a fantastic month as she made significant contributions with both bat and ball, leading her team to victory in the tri-series against Namibia and Zimbabwe. Oza's best performance with the bat was against Zimbabwe, where she scored 84 runs off just 65 balls, securing a narrow five-wicket win for the UAE. She also contributed with 42 runs and took three wickets against Namibia, finishing the series with a total of 209 runs at an average of 34.83 and eight wickets at an average of 14.50.
