The prestigious ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 trophy was showcased to the public ahead of the second T20I between Pakistan and South Africa.

The glittering silverware was displayed at the Multan Cricket Stadium, where Pakistan captain Fatima Sana and South African counterpart Laura Wolvaardt posed with it before the coin toss.

The trophy will also make its way to Faisalabad during the Champions One-Day Cup fixture between Dolphins and Stallions, before heading to Dubai on September 21st. The tournament, originally scheduled to take place in Bangladesh, has been relocated to the United Arab Emirates due to political unrest.

The ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024 will kick off on October 3rd with hosts Bangladesh facing Scotland.

Pakistan will begin their campaign against Sri Lanka on the same day. The tournament will feature a record prize pool of $7.95 million, with the champions receiving a staggering $2.34 million.
