ILT20 2023: Dubai all set for opening ceremony

The UAE International Twenty20 League is set to begin today with a grand opening ceremony. 

The ceremony will feature performances by Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, Badshah, Jason Derulo, and Dwayne Bravo.

Jason Derulo will also sing some of his popular songs. Shah Rukh Khan is also the co-owner of Abu Dhabi Knight Riders.

The opening matches will be held at the Dubai International Stadium after the ceremony. The teams of Dubai Capitals and Abu Dhabi Knight Riders will compete in the first match. 

Dubai Capitals have the services of captain Romain Powell, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Mujibur Rahman, Joe Root, and Robin Uthappa.

Abu Dhabi Knight Riders squad includes star players like captain Sunil Narine, Brendan Glover, Andre Russell, Paul Sterling, and Colin Ingram.

The captains of both teams have expressed their determination to complete their preparations and start the event victoriously.
