The Nottinghamshire Outlaws have made an exciting addition to their squad for the ongoing 2023 T20 Vitality Blast by signing Imad Wasim.

The Pakistani all-rounder, who previously played for the Outlaws in the 2019 and 2020 seasons of the T20 Blast, will join fellow countryman Shaheen Shah Afridi at the county.

Imad will be available for the team's last two group stage games and, if they qualify, for the quarterfinal stage. He steps in to fill the void left by Colin Munro and Samit Patel, as both players have been sidelined due to injuries for at least the next two group-stage matches.

Imad, while giving an exclusive interview to Cricket Pakistan last weekk, talked about what he intends to do in his next and probably his last four or five years in cricket, where he is more inclined towards enjoying both his batting and bowling.

"My batting form hasn't dipped, and it's the same. I am enjoying both batting and bowling right now, to be very honest. These are my last four to five years, where I want to enjoy cricket and express it in a different way. So this is what I am trying, and things have been going exactly as I want them to be. I will try my level best to continue this, improve it even more, and bring more brilliance to both of my fortes," Imad said.

Imad has made 66 T20I appearances to date, amassing 64 wickets in that time.
