Pakistan's opening batsman, Imam-ul-Haq, was forced to leave the field during today's third ODI against New Zealand after being hit on the face by a throw from a fielder while batting.

According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Imam-ul-Haq sustained minor facial injuries and medical reports indicate that he has a mild concussion.

The PCB further stated that the Turinga Hospital administration has advised Imam-ul-Haq to stay away from cricket activities for two weeks. He underwent a thorough check-up at the hospital, and his CT scan report came back normal.

The PCB confirmed that the Pakistan team management and medical team are closely monitoring Imam-ul-Haq's recovery, and he is now feeling better.
