The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 10% increase in the price of online tickets for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
According to the PCB, the increase in ticket prices is in response to the growing interest from fans, and the number of online tickets has been increased accordingly. This price hike applies to tickets for all the matches of the event.
Earlier, the PCB had initially made 30% of the tickets available for online sale. The online ticket sales for the Champions Trophy have seen an enthusiastic response from cricket fans.
Tickets for three matches have already sold out, including the matches between Pakistan and New Zealand, Australia and England, and Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The Pakistan vs New Zealand match is scheduled for February 19 in Karachi, the Australia vs England match will take place on February 22 in Lahore, and the Pakistan vs Bangladesh match will be held on February 27 in Rawalpindi.
As per the PCB's announcement, physical tickets will go on sale starting February 3, with over 100 tickets available at TCS Express Centers.
PCB officials have stated that the public response to ticket sales has been encouraging, reflecting the excitement of fans. The tickets sold out within hours, indicating strong demand.
PCB officials also emphasized that Pakistani fans continue to support their team, and the board will ensure that as many spectators as possible will be able to attend the matches.
