India has announced their squad for the upcoming Women's T20 World Cup, set to commence on October 3rd.

Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the team with Smriti Mandhana as vice-captain, while the opening partnership is expected to feature Mandhana alongside Shafali Verma.
Dayalan Hemalatha adds another option in the top order. Jemimah Rodrigues, Deepti Sharma, and Richa Ghosh bolster the team's batting prowess.
Richa Ghosh will take on the role of wicketkeeper, supported by Yastika Bhatia. The bowling department includes Renuka Singh, Pooja Vastrakar, Deepti Sharma, Radha Yadav, Asha Sobhana, Sajana Sajeevan, and Shreyanka Patil.
The fitness of Yastika Bhatia and Shreyanka Patil will be monitored closely, as both players have been managing injuries in recent months. Furthermore, India will have three traveling reserves for the tournament held in the UAE.
