The Indian Ministry of Sports has issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the Indian Blind Cricket Team to participate in the fourth edition of the T20 Blind Cricket World Cup, which will be held in Pakistan starting November 23.

In a letter sent to Shailender Yadav, the Secretary-General of the Cricket Association of the Blind in India, the ministry granted permission for the tour and advised contacting the Indian Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs for further clearances regarding the trip.

The Indian Blind Cricket Team is scheduled to arrive in Lahore on November 12 to participate in the World Cup, with their match against Pakistan set for November 25 in Lahore.

Meanwhile, Syed Sultan Shah, Chairman of the Pakistan Blind Cricket Council, welcomed the NOC issued by the Ministry of Sports, stating that matches between Pakistan and India always attract significant attention from sports fans. He noted the enthusiasm among the Pakistani public regarding the upcoming match during the World Cup.

Sultan Shah highlighted that cricket diplomacy has historically improved relations between the two countries.
